Work principle:

17AM+PTC is a manual reset type thermal protector. The contacts cut off when the temperature rises to the preset level. With a PTC heating element installed, the thermal protector will not reset only after the power disconnected and the temperature drops down.

Application:

17AM+PTC self hold thermal protector are used in application that does not need the thermal protector to be automatic reset. It can only reset after the power is disconnected and the temperature drops down. It has the following characters: the structure is advanced, the volume is very small, the action is sensitive, large in contact capacity, long life and so on. It’s widely used and protect electric motor; ballast of fluorescent lamp;transformer; DC motor of automobile; integrated circuit and general electric appliance.
